Apparently Shawn just hasn't gotten enough turkey hunting in this season. On the last Friday of season B, he and Scott Kilgus went out and Scott took this this gorgeous 17 lb. tom (9" beard, 7/8" spurs). Great bird, Scott!

Finally!!! Team Monroe is on the board! Angela, dropped this beautiful 16.5 lb tom (8" beard, 3/4" spurs) in his tracks using an MDM muzzleloader while husband, Rob, caught all the action on camera. With only a week and a half left of turkey season and a bunch of unfilled tags still in the house, the Monroe boys (Rob, Jacob and Zach) are hoping that this turkey is a sign that things are heating back up and that they'll have some turkeys to show off to "Mom" pretty soon.

The Barnes' luck (or, as Shawn would argue, "skill") continues!!! Shawn took this great 17 lb. (10" beard, 1 1/4" spurs) tom with his Darton Tempest while father, Bill, took his turn behind the camera. Now that the Barnes crew has shown us how to get it done, hopefully the rest of us will follow suit soon.

The Barnes family is really leading the way this Turkey season!!! Shawn filmed his beautiful wife, Lanee shooting this nice 14.5 lb "jake" (often referred to as a "joel" within the NTO inner circle) the day after Bill got his bird. Great shooting, Lanee!! Now, hopefully Shawn hasn't used all his luck up this week since next week it's his turn to be the shooter.

Bill is the first to show the kids that the adults can get it done, too, by taking this great 20 lb. tom (9 inch beard & 1" spurs) while Shawn filmed. Once again, the recipe for success was an Extreme Dimensions Phantom call and an MDM muzzleloader! Terrific tom, Bill!

Another youth day success! Scottie and his son, Tyler, took this awesome 20.5 lb. tom (11 inch beard & 1 1/4" spurs) again, with an Extreme Dimensions Phantom call and an MDM muzzleloader! Great job guys! Now, let's see if the adults can prove as successful as our youth hunters!

After Shawn called him in with an Extreme Dimensions Phantom call, Gauge put the hurt on this 18 lb. gobbler (10 inch beard & 1 1/8" spurs) using an MDM Muzzleloader on youth day. As you can see, the MDM and the Phantom call proved to be deadly medicine and Gauge is now a very happy boy!
